12Stone Church is a congregation of the Wesleyan church that strives to equip people for meaningful ministry. The church had a thriving in-person ministry that attracted young people. However, their online presence could not adequately reflect the energetic and welcoming environment of the church or engage visitors. Seeing the need for a more intuitive and engaging user experience, 12Stone Church, in partnership with Blacksmith Agency, decided on a strategic website redesign. The goal was to create a beautiful, easy-to-navigate, and deeply engaging website that could support the ministry’s goals

The visuals feel generic with stock-style imagery, muted color overlays, and inconsistent typography. These choices don’t capture the vibrancy of the brand or inspire trust. Instead of reinforcing a strong identity, the site comes across as dated and disconnected.

Poor Navigation and User Journey

Despite having a lot of content, the page lacks intuitive pathways for users. Without a smart menu or breadcrumb structure, users must scroll through endless blocks to find what’s relevant, resulting in frustration and higher drop-offs.

Most sections are styled with oversized, blocky images and text overlays that don’t clearly communicate what the user will find inside. Combined with limited font variation and inconsistent layouts, the page doesn’t establish a strong visual flow which impacts readability and overall engagement.
